Interview: Dave Burkus knows Leadership - and has written a book to prove it

Well, it’s happened……I’m officially a grandfather – thanks to all of you who sent words of support (and condolence – you know who you are). I have definitely entered a new, wonderful phase in life…

“The Synergist: Leading Your Team to Predictable Success” is also moving along well – I sent the final draft of the first 7 chapters along to the publisher last week, and chapters 8-12 are now in final rewrite…almost there!

I’ve got to know Dave Burkus over the last year or so through his work on LeaderLab (TheLeaderLab.org), a great site for students of leadership. We’ve also become good friends on Twitter, and last year Dave was kind enough to interview me about ‘Predictable Success’ (you can listen to that interview here).

Recently I got to turn the tables and interview Dave about ‘The Portable Guide to Leading Organizations’, the first printed book from LeaderLab, and as I termed it, a sort of ‘Strunk and White‘ for leadership models.
