Bamboo growth

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants there is, with growth recorded as fast as 47.6 inches in a single 24-hour period*.What’s more, bamboo can attain their full height in a single growing period of just three months. The catch – if catch it is – is that sometimes it can be a number of years before that growth spurt happens.

So often business leaders lose patience with a highly promising growth strategy before it has had time to flower. Before you pull that strategy, ask yourself – is there something wrong with this strategy, or is there something wrong with my patience?

If you’re interested, here’s a truly stunning time-lapse video of bamboo growth (you may wish to ignore the somewhat gaudy surroundings the video finds itself in).
