Julia Hamm is the President and CEO of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), a national non-profit organization that assists electric utilities, solar companies, and other member organizations by providing unbiased information and education about integrating solar energy into utility portfolios.
Julia’s extensive knowledge about solar programs, policies, barriers, and trends has led to her being an in-demand speaker at national and international conferences, as well as a prolific author of numerous articles.
Listen as Julia shares with Les the challenges and opportunities she faced when SEPA’s board asked her to step in and rebuild the organization from the ground up. This meant not only dealing with the day-to-day necessities, but also identifying how best to leverage gaps in the marketplace so that SEPA could bring much-needed assistance to its hundreds of member organizations.
She also reveals how SEPA’s working with Les and learning the language of Predictable Success provided an “a-ha” moment to her young staff as they realized their struggles were not unique. Lastly, discover what ELMO is and how it will make your meetings much more productive.
